My original very deep red huge flowered peony came from my grandmothers garden to my Mother and then me ..i have split it off for my daughters and still it continues to bloom …i have bought other peonies along the way but nothing yet touches my original …no idea what its variety is
How wonderful to have a treasured plant which you can pass on like that. I have a geranium that was similarly in my mum’s garden and is now in mine. Lovely to have something to care for with such a special connection.
I absolutely love gardening and flower cutting, there is nothing more rewarding than picking your own grown flowers 💐
